  Matt Johnson is a researcher who has worked on several projects including the OZ flight display, the DARPA Augmented Cognition project, NASA Human-Robot Teamwork, and Learning Locomotion. He is responsible for acquiring IHMC's first robots and has been the lead on integration of robots into several IHMC projects including both NASA and Office of Naval Research unmanned systems projects. His areas of interest include robot control, human-robot interaction, teamwork, and collaboration. Matt has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science. Matt comes to IHMC after 10 years as a Naval Aviator flying both fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. When not working on robots for IHMC he is a Naval Reserve Flight Instructor.
